Product Introduction
The YEJ Series Electromagnetic Brake Three-Phase Asynchronous Motor is an integrated electromechanical power product designed and manufactured in strict accordance with the machinery industry standard JB/T 6456. It incorporates a non-excitation action (power-off brake) type disc electromagnetic brake at the non-shaft extension end of a standard three-phase asynchronous motor. This series effectively addresses the issues of continued inertial operation or inability to achieve precise positioning after power-off in general motors, enabling rapid stopping and accurate holding functions. It is an ideal drive unit for various automated equipment requiring fast response, secure positioning, and prevention of slippage.
Power-off Safety Braking: It employs a non-excitation braking (i.e., power-off braking) method. When the motor is powered and running, the brake automatically releases. When the power is cut off, the brake immediately engages the brake disc under spring force, generating braking torque to quickly stop and lock the motor shaft. This design adheres to the “power-loss safety” principle, providing safety protection in case of unexpected power loss.
High Electromechanical Integration: The brake and motor form a compact, robust integrated unit. The structure is unified, with installation dimensions highly compatible with standard motors of the same frame size, saving installation space and facilitating wiring.
Rapid Braking Response: The brake responds sensitively with short braking times, meeting the demands of frequent starts/stops and quick positioning, thereby improving equipment operational efficiency.
Dual Protection Ratings: The main motor body has a protection rating of IP44, effectively preventing dust and water splashes. The brake section has a protection rating of IP23, preventing ingress of solid objects larger than 12mm and water drops within 60° from vertical, making it suitable for common industrial environments.
Reliable Cooling and Insulation: Utilizing the IC411 (self-ventilated) cooling method and a Class B (130°C) insulation system, it ensures stable operation and long service life under continuous or frequent start/stop conditions.
